Twilight Beauty, a new cosmetics brand themed after the series of films from Summit Entertainment, will launch two lines debuting this Fall: Luna Twilight and Volturi Twilight. The two lines will be available in conjunction with the release of the second film, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” which arrives in theaters on November 20, 2009.

The goal for Twilight Beauty was to create two beautiful and striking lines that women could fall in love with, much in the same way they fell in love with the Twilight saga. The hope is that, beyond the lure of its edgy, sophisticated packaging, true makeup consumers will find they have discovered products they can’t live without.

Luna Twilight reflects the mood and spirit of the beloved book and film series with the highest caliber products and visually stunning packaging. Gold shining through the translucent black represents the light coming through the darkness, the power of Edward’s love for Bella despite the obstacles that stand between them. Haunting trees wrap the componentry to recreate the forest backdrop of so many of the story’s romantic moments. The line was created for everyone from the Twilight enthusiast to women looking to highlight their own radiance. Every aspect of Luna Twilight embodies the beauty of this truly timeless tale.

Inspired by the blockbuster film series and acclaimed novels of the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, we present to you Volturi…Undying Beauty.

The Volturi represent the largest and most powerful reigning coven in the acclaimed novel’s vampire world. Their unquestionable authority evokes such reverence that they have been marked the “royal family” amongst all vampires, remaining unopposed for centuries. The Volturi and their kind are creatures of supernatural beauty that transcend time. Being in their presence stirs up feelings of respect, fear, and awe. The crest of the powerful Volturi family is the centerpiece and logo of the brand, appearing on every item of the line. The line has a sharp clear prismatic quality halved with a solid timeless black, symbolizing the never ending struggle between good and evil, right and wrong, love and lust.

If you are like me then it’s not a mystery that someone or something would come up with a Twilight Beauty Line. That’s just what DuWop did as the first product to be launched in the Twilight Beauty’s new Luna Twilight cosmetic line, this concoction is a two-phase moisturizing lip stain that features a venom-laced lip conditioner on top and an intense shimmering crisom stain on bottom. These two elements can be used separately but work best when shaken together to blend. Control the color by using a little stain for a light lip flush or dab a drop of pure dark red for the full vampire effect.

” We are very excited to partner the best-selling technology behind the Venom products with the Twilight saga. ” says Cristina Bartolucci, founder and Creative Director of DuWop. ” In the movie, venom is the means by which Stephanie Meyer’s mortals become transformed into vampires. With a suctomizable ruby stain, Twilight Venom can let you play the part!”

Key ingtedients such as argan oil, avocado oil, and Vitamin E leave lips looking and feeling lusciously soft. Argan oil is exceptionally rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids and is noted for its anti-aging effects. Both avacado and olive oils have regenerative and moisturizing properties to make lips supple. DuWop’s special venom blend of essential oils, including cinnamon, wintergreen and ginger, increase circulation and cause blood to rush to the the surface of the lips, plumping them slightly.

Timed with the release of the latest installment of the Twilight series from Summit Entertainment, New Moon, Twilight Venom will be available at Nordstroms.com, Sephora.com and TwilightBeauty.com for $16.00. The Luna Twilight line will be available late September at prestige and department stores.

My Review

Okay before I get into my actual review of the product I wanted to ramble about Twilight and my overwelming anticipation of New Moon. I was only half way into the book and though I have to see this movie of course I went alone because I couldn’t talk Peter into going with me. I still can’t get him to watch it at home. Maybe because it’s a over the top love story you know one of those ( chick flicks ). I wasn’t sure if I should finish the book before going to see the actual movie but I had to see Edward and Bella your imagination can only take you so far I knew the moment I saw them that this was going to be one of the best movies I had ever saw. Sure there weren’t big name actors in the movie or crazy special effects just the right amount to make this story special. Something about the pure innocence of Bella and Edwards love struck a soft spot with me. I think deep down every girl wants a love as real as the love they exchanged in the movie. New Moon looks just as good if not better than Twilight I hope my heart doesn’t get broken and Bella and Edward fall out of love :( guess we will have to see when the movie hits!

Okay so enough about that onto the product. I received it today in a cute little tube it had the perfect color of what vampire blood would look like seperated by the DuWop lip venom. I began shaking the tube mixing the products together and applied: my result a beautiful just bitten full lip :) I can’t wait for the rest of the line to be released. I promise to keep you posted!
