Okay, So I am back from my West Hollywood adventure to see a good friend of mine marc edward from marc edward skin care studio. After catching up for a few minutes we got down to business what my skin concerns were currently and a little about the treatment he was going to perform on my skin called Derma Sweep! wondering what the Derma Sweep is? it’s a multi-level skin resurfacing system. Below are some Q & A’s from the brochure.

1. How does Derma Sweep MD System work? Using a variable-level vacuum system and an assortment of treatment tips, the Derma Sweep wand gently lifts the skin against the appropriate treatment tip, removing the topmost layer of skin. The system then vacuums away the dead skin in a precise and controlled manner. The skin is left smoother as the vacuum action of the wand stimulates blood flow, cleans the pores and moves the skin debris to a Hepa filter. The increased blood flow to the skin’s surface encourage collagen formation thus firming and toning the epidermis as well. Using the Epi-Infusion option, skin specific treatments can also be applied to the skin during exfolation.

My review of the treamtment:

Well working with marc is always a treat, he is located in the heart of West Hollywood’s French Market ( the orginal Mimi’s Resturant ) so not only do I get a fabulous treatment but a fabulous luch as well. So I always arrive early to make sure I have time to grab a quick bite before hand and get my favorite parking spot under the big shady tree’s. marc offers free parking at his studio. Thats rare that there is anything free in LA? so that is another bonus. I changed into my gown and relaxed on the treatment bed with the sound of a peaceful waterfall and classical music in the backgroud.. Very relaxing.

I noticed a lot of extra’s marc always does that other places don’t. I can’t give away his secrets but when you book your next treatment pay attention to all the little extra’s that you don’t always get with the other places you go. I have been driving from Orange County to West Hollywood for over two years now to see marc there is a reason for that he does a fabulous job I know that I am getting what I pay for with him. Not to mention he takes the time to really understand your skin and it’s needs. If you are using something at home and it’s not giving you what you expected bring it to marc show him what you use and I promise he will tell you what what about what your using and if it’s what your skin is looking for. 5 stars
